On Thursday, the 13th of June, our team had the incredible opportunity to attend the Channel Technical Training event at AAEON’s Europe Headquarters in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. The training event was a comprehensive look at current developments in artificial intelligence (AI) and its applications in industrial technology.
It was a day filled with insightful presentations, engaging discussions, and invaluable networking.
Our Production Manager, Mark Searle, and our Head of Technology and R&D, Chris Durose, travelled to Eindhoven the day before training began. The event kicked off with a warm welcome from the AAEON team. AAEON, a leading provider of advanced industrial and embedded computing devices, showcased their latest innovations with an emphasis on how AI is becoming ever more prominent in industrial computing.
The presentations were the highlight of the day. Industry leaders from AAEON delivered sessions on various AI topics, including machine learning, edge computing, and AI-driven automation. These sessions gave our team invaluable insight into how AI technologies are being implemented to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and productivity in industrial settings.
Adding to the event's impact, NVIDIA participated as a guest speaker, providing an inside look at the future of their Jetson products and Edge AI. NVIDIA's presentation focused on their latest AI hardware and software innovations, particularly their GPU technology advancements and how they accelerate AI computations. The insights provided by NVIDIA not only complemented the themes discussed by AAEON but also emphasised the potential of AI in various industrial sectors.
Beyond the presentations, the event was an excellent opportunity for our engineers to network with other professionals in the field. They had the chance to speak directly with AAEON Managers and representatives, gaining deeper insights into their products and solutions. These valuable interactions were informative and inspiring, sparking new ideas and potential collaborations.
Meeting with other industrial technology leaders, exchanging experiences, and discussing challenges and solutions allowed our team to gain fresh perspectives and innovative ideas that we can apply to our own projects.
Attending the training in Eindhoven has broadened our team's understanding of AI and its practical applications and demonstrated our own knowledge and expertise in the subject. The experience will enhance our approach to integrating AI into our projects, and we are excited to implement the insights and skills acquired during this training, further cementing our commitment to technological advancements in the industrial sector.
