Asynchronous Serial Cards

Asynchronous Transmission involves sending data in the form of bytes or characters and operates as a half-duplex transmission. In this method, start bits and stop bits are appended to the data. Unlike synchronous transmission, asynchronous transmission does not does not require synchronization.
