The Nport 5230 serial device server offers versatile socket operation modes including TCP server, TCP client and UDP. Ensuring compatibility with software based on a standard network API (Winsock, BSD Sockets). The Real COM/TTY drivers provided with each NPort, make integrating into a TCP/IP network a seamless experience allowing you to preserve your software investment and enjoy the benefits of networking your serial devices. By specifying the NPort 5230's IP address and port number, a network sockets API can obtain access to the attached serial device over the network, from any host computer that supports TCP/IP. for legacy Windows or Linux software that is COM or TTY-based, Moxa's COM/TTY drivers provide a seamless way of operating over the network. RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
