AAEON has unveiled its latest addition to the PICO-ITX board lineup, the PICO-ADN4, tailored for Industry 4.0 applications such as industrial automation and assembly line quality control. Designed to withstand challenging environmental conditions, this board comes in standard and wide-temperature range versions, making it ideal for factory use. With support for 12V DC input, the optional DC-DC converter extends compatibility to power sources ranging from 9V to 36V, addressing locations with unstable power supplies.
The PICO-ADN4 stands out for its CPU versatility, accommodating processors from the latest Intel Core i3 Processor N-series, Intel Atom x7000E Series, and the Intel Processor N-series platform (formerly known as Alder Lake-N). This flexibility enables the board to meet diverse processing requirements.
Upgraded to utilize LPDDR5 system memory, the PICO-ADN4 boasts faster data transmission speeds and features soldered system memory, providing an advantage for applications susceptible to vibration. The board also incorporates an advanced Ethernet interface with 2.5GbE support, enhancing networking capabilities. Key physical interfaces include HDMI and LVDS for display output, accompanied by various connectors for communication and control tasks. Expansion options encompass Wi-Fi support, additional storage via mSATA, and BIOS-based expansion features.
Despite its low-power processor lineup, the PICO-ADN4 excels in graphics capabilities, featuring IntelUHD Graphics for 12th Gen Intel Processors with higher graphics render clock frequencies. The CPUs themselves exhibit higher single-core frequencies compared to the previous generation, ensuring enhanced performance.
