Control and monitor 8 optically isolated inputs and 8 (SPDT) high-current Form C relay outputs via any USB connection with the 8232.
Inputs can range from 5-30V DC and optical isolation protects the computer and other sensitive equipment from voltage transients and ground loops that are common in industrial environments.
The high-current Form C relays can switch up to 6A loads at 250V AC and 100V DC. Form C relays can be wired for either normally open or normally closed operation.
SeaDAC modules are housed in a rugged, attractive plastic enclosure and include a highly-retentive USB Type B connector to prevent accidental disconnection.
The 8232 is USB bus powered, so no external power supply is needed. Standard operating temperature range of SeaDAC modules is 0C to 70C and extended temperature range (-40C to +85C) is optional.
The SeaMAX software suite supports the SeaDAC Lite family and is designed to work with third party applications via the SeaMAX API. Sealevel's SeaMAX software drivers and utilities make installation and operation easy using Linux and Windows operating systems.
