CE

RoHS

This product fully adheres to the Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive 2002/95/EC, RoHS for short.  The directive covers the restriction of use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment and was adopted in February 2003 by the European Union.

Wide Voltage

These devices and systems have been designed to accept a wide voltage DC power input. This feature is desirable in the industrial market where a fixed voltage level or mains AC power cannot be guaranteed.

FCC Approved

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is an independent agency of the United States government that sets standards and governs the testing of conducted and radiated emissions such as EMI.

M.2

M.2, formerly known as the Next Generation Form Factor (NGFF), is a specification for internally mounted computer expansion cards and associated connectors. M.2 replaces the mSATA standard, which uses the PCI Express Mini Card physical card layout and connectors. Employing a more flexible physical specification, the M.2 allows different module widths and lengths, and, paired with the availability of more advanced interfacing features, makes the M.2 more suitable than mSATA in general for solid-state storage applications

TPM

Trusted Platform Module (TPM) is an international standard for a secure cryptoprocessor, a dedicated microcontroller designed to secure hardware through integrated cryptographic keys.

The GENE-RAP6, AAEON's 13th Gen Industrial SBC, is built with Intel Core i7, i5, i3, and Intel Processor U-series CPUs. Using the platform's performance hybrid architecture, it offers up to 6 performance cores, 8 efficient cores, and 20 threads for optimal workload management through integrated Intel Thread Director technology.

The GENE-RAP6 has flexible system memory options, supporting up to 64GB of dual-channel DDR5 running at 4800MHz. Its exceptional display interfaces include HDMI 2.1 and DP 1.4 ports, both capable of delivering stunning 8K resolution at 60Hz. With the ability to drive two 4K displays at 120Hz simultaneously, this SBC is ideal for applications demanding high-quality visual output, such as healthcare imaging. The board's rich external I/O features 2.5GbE and 1GbE LAN ports, along with 4x USB3.2 Gen 2 ports (3x Type-A, 1x Type-C), and 4x internal headers for RS-232/422/485, GPIO, and SMBus.

The SBC offers plenty of storage options with support for standard SATA drives, an M.2 2280 M-Key for NVMe, and an FPC connector with four PCIe 4.0 lanes. It also includes functional expansion possibilities, accommodating 5G, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth modules through an M.2 3052/3042/2242 B-Key and M.2 2230 E-Key. In industrial automation applications, the GENE-RAP6 excels, handling process control systems, data analysis, and virtualised monitoring effortlessly.
