A projected capacitive touch or PCAP touch screen is composed of a sheet of glass with embedded transparent electrode films and an IC chip, offering excellent image clarity, multi-touch, resistance to surface contaminants (dust, oil, grease, moisture) and can be operated with surgical gloves.
