The WISE-3610 is Qualcomm ARM Cortex A based hardware platform, which operates with OpenWRT, described as a Linux distribution for embedded devices. The Advantech WISE-3610 industrial device is an Advantech IoT gateway designed for smart city, and industry 4.0 applications ideal for harsh environments whilst leveraging wireless sensor technology. This IoT gateway can aggregate both the wireless sensor networks (WSN), including Low Power WAN (LPWAN) technology by using Advantech private LoRa technology, wired sensors and which ties them into an IP network. With a modular slot design, it can easily adapt to a variety of wireless technologies using regional RF bands and wireless communication protocosl via various uplink requirements ensuring a fast time to market.
