We would like to share some important updates regarding our Board of Directors at Impulse Embedded. As we begin the next chapter of our business, we are committed to maintaining strong leadership in everything we do.
Our CEO, Craig Stone, and CFO, Craig Wright, will be leaving Impulse at the end of July 2025. We sincerely thank them for their contributions to our success over the years. Their impact on the company has been significant, and we wish them all the best in their future endeavours.
As part of this transition, our Chief Commercial Officer, Robert Plant, will step into the role of Managing Director effective immediately, bringing a wealth of industry experience and strategic vision to lead the business. Additionally, our Chief Operating Officer, Jim Goetzee, will take on the role of Operations Director, ensuring continued excellence in our daily operations.
Speaking on the transition, Craig Stone said: “It has been a privilege to serve as part of the leadership team at Impulse for the past 15 years, and most recently as CEO. I have every confidence in Rob as he steps into the role of Managing Director, and the entire leadership team, as they continue to drive the company forward. I look forward to supporting Rob and the whole Impulse team throughout this transition period, as they build on the strong foundations that are in place while forging their own path for future growth.”

Robert Plant reflected: “Impulse has built a strong reputation for excellence in the embedded and industrial computing sector, and I am honoured to take on the role of Managing Director. Working as part of the Acal BFi Group provides us with greater strength, resources, and opportunities, while our independence allows us to continue delivering the innovation and service our customers expect.
“I want to extend my deepest thanks to Craig Stone and Craig Wright, whose dedication and leadership have been instrumental in shaping the company we are today. I look forward to working with our talented team even more closely, to build on this legacy and drive our next phase of growth.”
We are also pleased to announce that a new Financial Controller, Natalie Stevenson, will be joining us in June. Natalie brings extensive experience as Finance Director and Company Secretary at a leading industrial power consultancy in the Midlands. A chartered accountant, she has successfully built finance teams from the ground up and has a strong track record in group finance reporting. Her expertise in ERP systems, data migration, and change management will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen our financial operations. She will work closely with our Finance Team over the coming months to ensure a smooth handover following Craig Wright’s departure.
We appreciate the dedication and hard work of our entire team during this period of transition. With these leadership changes, all of Impulse remains focused on delivering the highest standards of service and innovation for our customers and partners.
